Restaurant brand to provide free meals to veterans and active duty military personnel on Veterans Day, continue the “Thank ‘Que Tour” to feed veterans and organize fundraising for Operation Homefront.

Throughout the month of November, customers at Lucille’s 21 branches in California, Nevada and Arizona can support Operation Homefront’s holiday meal program by rounding their bill to the nearest dollar and donating the cash. Additional donations are also welcome and can be made in the restaurant or online. Amounts collected in partnership with Round It Up America® provides meals for veterans and their families. Since 2010, Operation Homefront’s Holiday Military Meal Program has served more than 110,000 meals, impacting more than 475,000 service members and veteran family members. As part of Operation Homefront, Lucille’s will be providing a full Thanksgiving feast for five veterans and their families.

On Veterans Day, November 11, Lucille’s will be offering veterans and active duty military personnel a free original pulled pork sandwich with a choice of side (military ID required, please) .

And in a special effort to honor veterans, Lucille will make several stops on her second annual Thanks’ Que tour, providing delicious meals to veterans and their families in El Monte, Long Beach, Riverside, Placentia and Santa Ana. .

Lucille’s restaurants are reminiscent of a Southern truck stop with distinctive Southern decor that includes reclaimed wood doors and windows for a rustic yet contemporary look. Lucille’s showcases blues-inspired artwork throughout the Flying Pig restaurant and lounge. Lucille’s participated in Round It Up America, a platform that encourages restaurant customers to donate change; Over the past 10 years, Round It Up America has collectively raised millions of dollars for charities and programs across the country.
