Local entrepreneur to open four new sites and reopen 4 other sites in Atlanta, Athens

ATLANTA, 12 October 2021 / PRNewswire / – Batteries Plus, the country’s largest and fastest growing battery, bulb, keychain and repair franchise, announced the signing of an eight-unit contract in the Atlanta Region. The deal consists of four brand new locations and four resale locations, in and around Atlanta and Athens.

Behind the purchase is Equicorp Partners, LLC, a Atlantadeveloper of multi-unit franchises and investment and private consultancy firm. The Partnership boasts thirty years of experience in the management space for start-ups and traditional brands, including Arby’s, City Barbeque and Café Rio. Equicorp Partners, LLC has been impressed with Batteries Plus’ proven track record of success as well as the amount of support and vision from franchisors for their retailers.

Of the eight locations, three resale locations are currently open to the public in Buckhead, Cobb Parkway and Marietta. Two new sites will open in early 2022 in Dunwoody and Suwanee and two more will be located in Covington and Cartersville in the fall of next year.
