LITCHFIELD – Meeker County is reporting multiple incidents related to Thursday night’s storm.
The sheriff’s office says there have been reports of localized flooding, downed trees and roof damage throughout the county.
Trained weather observers reported rotating clouds and funnel clouds, although none of them appeared to have settled.
The sheriff says a vehicle was washed out on a road in Eden Valley. The vehicle was completely submerged, but the driver was able to get out safely.
A tractor-trailer was blown off Highway 15 in Kingston Township. The driver, 56 years old Kenneth Braniecki of Florissant, Missouri was taken to Meeker Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are also assessing roof and water damage to the Meeker County Courthouse.
