The Memphis Grizzlies move up to 10th place in the 2021 NBA Draft after their trade with the New Orleans Pelicans.
With only a few days left to go to the 2021 NBA Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies looked like they caused a bit of a storm in NBA circles during the first big deal before the draft.
Breaking the trade, the Pelicans sent Steven Adams, Eric Bledsoe, the No.10 and 40 picks in the 2021 draft, plus a top 10 and 2022 protected first round to the Grizzlies.
While the Pelicans received Jonas Valanciunas and this year’s No. 17 and 51 draft picks. The trade has seen a lot of winners and losers regarding what the 2021 Draft has to offer.
It’s clear the Pelicans want to win now, and the addition of Valanciunas gives them the perfect fit with Zion Williamson. Valanciunas is not only a force inside the paint, but can also shoot the 3.
