Mo' Bettahs transports guests to the Hawaiian Islands with an all-new prototypeSalt Lake City, Utah (RestaurantNews.com) Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Restaurant offers customers a glimpse of the diverse ocean lifestyle that characterizes the Hawaiian Islands through its all-new prototype.

After growing up on Oahu, brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack decided to create a restaurant that reflected their love for Hawaii’s unique culture, delicious cuisine, and the Pacific Ocean. Now, in anticipation of rapid growth, the popular Hawaiian-style concept has revealed a complete rebrand reminiscent of the Mack brothers’ “hana buttah dayz” (childhood). When customers visit the new Mo’ Bettahs restaurants, they will be instantly transported to the islands with visuals featuring specific colors and patterns that accurately depict the exquisite landscapes of plants, flowers and waters native to Hawaii.

“It’s an exciting time for the Mo’ Bettahs brand, not only are we experiencing phenomenal growth, but we’re also taking the opportunity to build even more on our roots with our branding and store design” , said Mo’ Bettahs President Rob Ertmann. “We updated our logo to give it a vintage Hawaiian surf community feel and our restaurant design to further reinforce the feeling that you are entering someone’s backyard on the island to enjoy a barbecue authentic Hawaiian.”

Mo’ Bettahs recently launched its updated design elements and brand – complete with a new logo that alludes to the movements of the ocean and trade winds – in Plano, Texas. The brand has 18 restaurants slated to open nationwide by the end of 2022, all of which will feature Mo’ Bettahs’ latest rebranding additions. This will bring the brand to over 50 units in the western United States with over 20 units planned for 2023.

“Growing up in Hawaii, you could see us driving dad’s VW bus to all of our favorite surf spots, stopping at local restaurants for a plated lunch, and hanging out with ohana (family),” said co-founder Kalani Mack. “I hope those who choose to dine with us are transported to a simpler island lifestyle that is more reminiscent of the Hawaii we know and love, than the ‘more touristy Hawaii’ that is often depicted. We are very excited to bring our “Aloha” brand to Plano and Oklahoma City. In addition to sharing some of our favorite family recipes with the good people in these towns, there are many Hawaiian “grafts” who also call these places “home.” We look forward to being part of these communities and helping to spread the culture and values we hold dear. »

Mo’ Bettahs spreads the aloha spirit by serving authentic, fresh flavors using only the finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy Hawaiian staples like the famous plated lunch which includes a choice of meat – grilled chicken or teriyaki steak, kalua pig, chicken pulehu, chicken katsu or shrimp tempura – as well as the unique macaroni salad brand and steamed rice.
