HUNTSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) – In just under three years, Utah will celebrate the grand opening of its first 5-star all-inclusive ski resort at Snowbasin.
Club Med Utah is slated to open in December 2024 and will be designed to appeal to all types of travelers, including families, couples, reunions, and event groups.
Club Med is the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, offering nearly 70 premium resorts around the world, including North and South America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean.
The project is part of a larger plan recently announced by Snowbasin for the mountain, which also includes additional beginner ski areas, new lift infrastructure, and retail and accommodation areas at the base.
The announcement came during the inauguration ceremony of Club Med Quebec, where the president and CEO of the brand, Henri Giscard D’Estaing, announced the expansion of Club Med in Utah.
To date, Club Med has over 20 all-inclusive mountain resort properties across Canada, Europe and Asia, and now thanks to the brand’s commitment to expanding its unmatched all-inclusive mountain product in the North American market, which will soon be Utah.
This opening marks the company’s first new complex in the United States in more than 20 years.
One of North America’s most accessible and oldest ski resorts, Snowbasin Resort will be home to the first exclusive 5-star Club Med resort in the United States. French craftsmanship, as well as architectural and design touches that incorporate elements of Utah and its precious history.
The 5-star ski resort will offer accommodation including spacious deluxe 2-bedroom and family suites, private penthouse suites and an award-winning kids’ club ages 4 months to 17 for families looking for family entertainment more adapted. to live.
With direct access to the ski slopes, all-day meals will be available in the resort’s restaurants and lounges and guests will also be able to enjoy group ski and snowboard lessons, lift tickets and a heated swimming pool. during the ski season.

Snowbasin was a host site for the alpine events of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games, including downhill, combined (downhill and slalom) and super-G. Today, customers can still explore the courses.
