Bar D Wranglers Benefit Concert
The Bar D Wranglers will perform a benefit concert on Saturday, November 12 at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds Event Center, 320 N. 1000 West, Tremonton.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available now online at www.showtix4u.com.

Buddhist Church Autumn Shop
The Honeyville Buddhist Church will hold its annual fall shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Honeyville Buddhist Temple, 3945 W. 6900 N. (west of the I-15 Honeyville exit).
The free entry event will feature various crafts from local vendors along with food including sushi, teriyaki chicken, Spam musubi, rice bowls and more. There will also be a bake sale and raffle, with raffles every hour throughout the day.
Turkey Trot for the Pantry
Kick off the Thanksgiving holiday season by dressing up and participating in the 22nd Annual Tremonton Turkey Trot to benefit the Tremonton Community Food Pantry.
The Turkey Trot will be held Saturday, November 12 from The Pantry, 180 S. Tremont St. The 1-mile Tot Trot race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the 5k race at 10:15 a.m. Registration is free and can be done in advance at www.tremontoncity.org, or on site the day of the event from 9:15 a.m.
Food Pantry donation bins will be on site, so please bring your generous donation as an entry fee. The first 150 to register will receive a free Turkey Trot t-shirt sponsored by Cover Up.
Everyone is invited to participate in the Tot Trot; however, only children 10 and under will be timed. The 5K field will include men’s and women’s divisions in five age groups, with prizes going to the top three in each division.
The fire district will hold a budget meeting
The Central Box Elder Fire District will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14 at Honeyville Town Hall, 6980 N. 35 West, Honeyville, to approve the district’s budget for the year 2023.
“Feeding Furriends” Animal Food Drive
IFA is once again partnering with Purina, Hill’s Science Diet and Victor to help select furry friends in the communities it serves by donating livestock feed and pet food to shelters, shelters and local animal sanctuaries.
The “Feeding Furriends Animal Food Drive” runs Nov. 7-19 at all 23 IFA Country Stores, including 440 W. Main St. in Tremonton.
The IFA offers the community several different options for donating: pick up any 40-50 lb bag of livestock feed or pet food at the store. For every 10 bags sold, IFA will donate one bag of food/animal feed to a local shelter/rescuer, up to one month’s supply per partner. Or ask your cashier to add a donation of $1, $5, $10 (or another amount) to your purchase.
At the end of the food drive, IFA Country Stores will donate livestock feed and/or pet food to each of its 22 nonprofit partners. Total donations will depend on the number of bags sold and the total dollar amount donated by customers (all monetary donations will go towards additional bags of food). Last year, the IFA donated more than 78,000 pounds of food to local animal shelters.
Midland Square Holiday Party
Tremonton’s annual holiday extravaganza is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 in downtown Midland Square.
Join us for a holiday celebration with lots of family fun, including selfies with Santa and the Grinch, carriage rides downtown, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, a candy cane hunt, an ugly sweater contest and tons of fun and Christmas cheers to go around.
It’s a fun tradition for families to get into the Christmas spirit, and don’t forget to shop local this Christmas. The 12 Days of Christmas Shop Local Passport begins on November 12 with prizes raffled off at this event.
Toys 4 Kids Benefit Pickleball Tournament
Tremonton City will host a pickleball tournament to benefit “Toys 4 Kids” on Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10 at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds Event Center, 340 N. 1000 W., Tremonton.
This team tournament is a double elimination group tournament, guaranteed 4 matches. Each player must bring a new, unwrapped toy, worth at least $10, to each registered tournament. Toys will be distributed to children in need in the community through the food pantry. Pantry donations are also accepted.
Every participant will be entered to win prizes in Santa’s bag and be sure to dress up or wear your ugliest sweater to spread an extra amount of cheer.
The men will play on Friday evening, the mixed on Saturday morning and the women on Saturday afternoon. Finalized materials and information will be sent the week of the tournament.
Registration is now available for Junior Jazz Youth Basketball 2023, an exciting program combining team play and individual skills.
The program is administered by Tremonton Recreation, where each child plays while making friends and learning new techniques and skills. Leagues are organized for children in grades 3 to 12.
