Fortis appoints Mark Olson as Chief Financial Officer

DENVER, August 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Fortis, a high-growth commercial bank serving small and medium-sized private Colorado and Utahtoday announced the appointment of Marc Olson as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Olson brings more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry, having most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Altabank (NASDAQ: ALTA) in US range, UT before its sale to Glacier Bancorp at the end of 2021.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Olson’s responsibilities will cover financial strategy and financial operations, including financial planning, controlling, treasury, corporate development and investor relations. Mr. Olson has held CFO positions at successful banking institutions including California Republic Bank (OTC: CRPB), Heritage Oaks Bank (NASDAQ: HEOP) and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust (Pacific Capital Bancorp) (NASDAQ: PCBC) . Prior to these roles, he was a member of the management team responsible for the governance and oversight of commercial banking activities conducted within the legal structure of Goldman Sachs Bank, UNITED STATES.
